IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Complete the application within 15 days to avoid automatic cancellation by the system. If returned for action, the customer must complete the required tasks within 5 days to avoid cancellation.
How Do You Apply?
1.You can apply for this service online through https://rakdigital.rak.ae by using your UAE Pass and selecting “Renew Tenancy Contract” to begin your application.
2.Fill in the application form, print the draft contract, have both the lessor and lessee sign it, and attach the signed copy along with all required documents. Pay the application fee and submit your application.
3.Wait for a notification from the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality to proceed with the payment of contract attestation fees.
4.Pay the attestation fee through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or payment machines at Customer Happiness Centres.
5.Once we verify your application, we will issue the certified lease contract and either send it to your registered email or make it available for download through the website.
What Documents Do You Need?
1.Emirates ID : Valid copies of IDs of owner and tenant.
2.Trade License : If the contract is commercial or one of the parties is a company.
3.Approval of other Government : A site inspection form and the Commercial Licence if the contract is commercial.
4.Power of Attorney : If one of the parties is deceased and represented by an heir.
What Terms and Limitations Apply?

- A valid Emirates ID or passport is required for the tenant.
